A legacy of community service, dignity, and sustainable development since 2010
► 2010 : Official Launch
● Founded under Law No. 93 (1958) and licensed by Ministerial Decree No. 998 on May 23, 2010.
● Registered as a non-profit humanitarian organization headquartered in Aleppo and Damascus.
● Mission launched to support human development and reduce poverty through microfinance, education, health, and social services.
► 2010 – 2013 : Grassroots Empowerment
● Initiated micro-loan programs in rural Aleppo (As-Safira).
● Revived women-led traditional crafts in Jabal Al Hoss, promoted via national and international exhibitions.
► 2014 – 2015 : Early Relief & Health Response
● Supported Aleppo’s Health Directorate in national polio campaigns and routine vaccinations.
● Launched WASH campaigns in 44 schools, benefiting over 23,000 students.
● Rehabilitated multiple health centers across As-Safira in partnership with UNDP.
► 2015 – 2017 : WASH and Education Initiatives
● Implemented major WASH projects in IDP shelters (Jibrin, Al-Hamdaniya).
● Delivered Self-Learning Programs for out-of-school children in Aleppo’s countryside.
● Rolled out “Preserve the Smiles” psychosocial support for 30,000 children across two phases.
► 2017 – 2019 : Scaling Impact
● Expanded child-friendly spaces and WASH rehabilitation in coordination with UNICEF.
● Launched “Mubdi‘oun” youth skills project, training 6,000 adolescents in life, vocational, and civic skills.
● Piloted Multi-Service Platforms in Eastern Aleppo for education, child protection, and WASH.
● Rehabilitated dozens of schools in rural Aleppo with support from OCHA and SHF.
► 2019 – 2021 : Livelihoods and Early Recovery
● Partnered with WFP to distribute egg-laying chickens to 1,800+ families over two project phases.
● Supported spinal cord injury patients through cash grants and livelihood training (UNDP).
● Introduced community-based savings and loan groups in As-Safira.
● Extended Multi-Service Platforms Phase II, reaching over 30,000 children and caregivers.
► 2021–2023 : Protection, Education & Infrastructure
● Expanded school rehabilitation to new areas (Tadef, Al-Bab, Dair Hafir, Jabal Samaan).
● Launched the Noor Project to provide protection and PSS to 179,000+ children.
● Implemented large-scale cash assistance for vulnerable families in Aleppo’s urban slums.
► 2023 – Present : Post-Earthquake Recovery & Teach-Up Initiative
● Rehabilitated earthquake-affected schools across 6 villages.
● Rolled out Teach-Up, a flagship 2-year integrated education initiative serving 20,000+ children.
● Continued expanding child protection and community resilience efforts with UNICEF, OCHA, and UNDP.
